Our Leadership
The Board of Directors of the Hotel & Restaurant Association of Bhutan provides strategic leadership and governance to ensure the organization fulfills its mission of representing and advancing the interests of the hospitality industry in Bhutan.
Our board members are elected by HRAB members and bring diverse experience from across the hospitality sector, representing hotels and restaurants from all regions of Bhutan.

Mr. Ugyen Tenzin
President
Mr. Ugyen Tenzin has been serving as the President of HRAB since 2020. With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he has been instrumental in advocating for the interests of hotels and restaurants across Bhutan. Under his leadership, HRAB has strengthened its partnerships with government bodies and international organizations to promote sustainable tourism development.
He is also the Managing Director of one of Bhutan’s leading hotel chains and has been a pioneer in implementing eco-friendly practices in the hospitality sector.
